Dr. Se Yong Lee

  When young, I was always been interested in things that are special and not common. I was introduced to qigong at a young age, which sparked my interest in Oriental medicine.

  So in 2009, I went to China to study and completed my bachelor's and master's programs at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
In China, I studied under two masters, one of whom is Prof. Zhou周德安, head of the acupuncture department at 'Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine 北京中医医院' and the third, fourth, and fifth batches of 'instructor of inheritance work of academic experience of national TCM experts'. As an disciple, I studied directly with him for 9 years and contributed to his book《燕京医学名家 周德安临床经验集》.
  The other teacher is Dr. Liao 廖计能, and studied Chinese herbal prescription specializing in gynecology for 10 years. After working as a Chinese medicine doctor in China, I decided to move to the United States in 2019.

  After coming to the United States, I obtained NCCAOM and California acupuncturist license, but also studied Korean Sa-Ahm acupuncture and 4 body constitution theory. With Prof. Yoon윤동원, we published an article in the Korean Sa-Ahm Acupuncture Society magazine, and are working on translating his book 'Sa-Ahm’s Cogitations on Four Needle Acupuncture'.

  Currently, opened Vita Acupuncture & Herbs with the goal of helping as many people in need by using Oriental medicine.
